Alpha Data at the AMD Embedded Computing Summit and Partner Summit 2026
Alpha Data attended the AMD Embedded Computing Summit in London on 16 June and the AMD Partner Summit in San Jose in May as part of the AMD Embedded Computing Summit Global Technical Tour. As an AMD Premier Partner, both events form part of our ongoing engagement with AMD’s engineering and partner ecosystem.
Our Chief Technology Officer, Andrew McCormick, demonstrated our Versal RF and RFSoC solutions in London, which included a live RFSoC data capture over 10 GE IP, showcasing our technology in collaboration with Chevin Technology. Over in San Jose, our Managing Director, David Miller, and CEO, Adam Smith, met with our partners at Missing Link Electronics, in the context of our latest product collaboration, providing defense procurement teams with pre-integrated and validated software and hardware solutions.
Across both events, the shift in the industry conversation was clear. The questions being asked by engineers and programme teams are increasingly implementation-focused: design tradeoffs, platform migration, signal processing, and how to deploy AI capability at the edge without compromising the reliability and security requirements that defence, aerospace, and scientific programmes depend on.
For Alpha Data, we’re actively engaged in conversations through the AMD partner ecosystem as part of how we ensure our Adaptive SoC platforms reflect where the technology is heading, not just where it has been. Our customers are building programmes that need to perform reliably for years. Getting ahead of the implementation curve is part of what we offer.
