Alpha Data’s US Facility Achieves CMMC Level 2 Certification
Alpha Data’s US facility has achieved CMMC Level 2 (C3PAO) certification, certified by The Cyber AB, the sole authorized non-governmental partner of the U.S. Department of Defense in implementing and overseeing the CMMC conformance regime. The certification confirms that Alpha Data meets the Department of War’s cybersecurity requirements for handling Controlled Unclassified Information, the sensitive program data shared between primes and their suppliers on US defense and aerospace work.
Founded in 1993, Alpha Data supplies FPGA and Adaptive SoC-based hardware to defense, aerospace, and space programs worldwide. CMMC Level 2 (C3PAO) certification gives US customers independent verification that the information they share with Alpha Data is protected to the standard the Department of War expects across its supply chain. It also places Alpha Data among a select group of suppliers. As of July 2026, fewer than 2,000 Level 2 certificates had been issued across a defense industrial base of more than 76,000 organizations expected to need one.
