Alpha Data was founded in 1993 in Edinburgh. While the headquarters remain in Scotland’s capital, Alpha Data now serves customers worldwide from offices in both the US and the UK.
Alpha Data was established to provide state-of-the-art solutions for computer intensive applications, and the company’s team of highly skilled engineers provide international customers with high-reliability, leading-edge products based on the latest devices from AMD.
Alpha Data’s partnership with AMD (formerly Xilinx) gives our customers access to the latest advances in silicon engineering, and Alpha Data provides the hardware, software and expertise to ensure rapid time to market.
With over thirty years of technical heritage and a broad experience of providing hardware to aerospace primes, Alpha Data are now building on their technical expertise to manufacture ruggedized, radiation-resilient components for the growing NewSpace market.
Our products are interoperable with industry standards such as VPX, XMC and PCI Express® along with popular operating systems such as Microsoft Windows™, Linux and VxWorks.
