OpenCAPI at SuperComputing 2017 (SC17)
Alpha Data, a member of the OpenCAPI Consortium and world leader in high performance Xilinx FPGA based acceleration boards, will join forces with many other industry leaders to showcase OpenCAPI technology during the Super Computing 2017 conference, November 13th-16th, in Denver, Colorado.
Barreleye Server with ADM-PCIE-9V3
SC17 will showcase the data-centric approach of OpenCAPI to collectively build advanced server, networking, storage and acceleration technology aimed at delivering more choice, control and flexibility to developers of next-generation, hyperscale and cloud data centers. Alpha Data offers OpenCAPI enabled FPGA accelerator boards, featuring Xilinx Ultrascale+™ FPGAs. OpenCAPI on POWER9 systems provides a high-performance solution for the implementation on FPGAs of client-specific, computation-heavy algorithms being driven by emerging cognitive workloads. Alpha Data’s Xilinx® FPGA based boards provide the highest performance per watt, lowest latency and simple programming methods for heterogeneous processing systems using POWER architecture.
Alpha Data’s power-efficient accelerators leverage Xilinx’s All Programmable FPGAs to accelerate processing, increase data throughput, and deliver power optimized solutions for computing clusters. Direct attach connectivity to OpenCAPI enabled motherboards provides multi-lane 25G transceiver bandwidth dedicated to coherent acceleration. Designed to be server-friendly for large scale data center deployment, Alpha Data’s range of FPGA accelerator boards are available in a low-profile PCIe format with passive cooling. Alpha Data’s high-reliability hardware platforms are ideal for development as well as full-scale production deployment.
Visit Alpha Data at booth #1838 for a demo “scalable ray-cast rendering of a Voxel based volumetric dataset” using FPGA accelerators on our ADC-PCIE-9V3 and ADM-PCIE-KU3 boards. Visitors to Alpha Data’s booth will also be able to view a Barreleye G2 POWER9 Server integrated with the ADM-PCIE-9V3 OpenCAPI accelerator. In addition, Alpha Data’s 9V3 PCIe accelerator cards will be displayed at the OpenCAPI Consortium booth #1587 & #1589 on multiple systems. Visit the ADM-PCIE-9V3 product page
