ADA-VPX3-9R1

Summary

The ADA-VPX3-9R1 is a high performance System On Module (SOM) based on the AMD Zynq Ultrascale+ RFSoC, which combines FPGA Fabric, ADC and DAC interfaces and ARM CPU cores in a single low-power device.

The assembly is provided in rugged VPX 3U format and is available in Industrial temperature grades with Air- or Conduction Cooling.

The ADS-STANDALONE/9R1 is a standalone fully enclosed 8 channel ADC (5 GSPS@14 bit - Gen3 RFSoC) and 8 channel DAC (10 GSPS@14 bit - Gen3 RFSoC) data converter based on AMD RFSoC technology. Reference Designs: (RD-9R1)

The RD-9R1 contains a suite of Vivado and Vitis/xSDK reference designs demonstrating how to use the board, in an embedded ARM CPU standalone configuration and in a PCIe-centric mode. An ARM CPU-centric Targetted Reference Design is the primary example, but additional examples include a Gen3x8 P6 PCIe demonstration. The RD-9R1 is compatible with the ADS-STANDALONE/9R1 and ADA-VPX3-9R1.

PCIe examples are compatible with the ADXDMA Driver and API.
